What does Botox do?
Botox temporarily reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults. Botox can also be used to reduce muscle tension and headaches.
Is Botox safe?

Yes. The doses used for cosmetic and therapeutic procedures in dentistry are completely safe. However, Botox treatment is not advised during pregnancy.

Does Botox hurt?

Botox is administered via injection, but our patients report that this treatment is relatively comfortable. Our dentists use a special injection technique to ease any pain.

What should I do after getting Botox?

We’ll provide you with full after-care instructions. In general, we suggest avoiding strenuous exercise, tight headwear, and rubbing your face for four hours following your appointment. You should also avoid laying down for 2-3 hours following your Botox treatment.

Why do dentists offer Botox?

Dentists have been administering Botox treatments for many years. Because dentists have extensive training in head and neck anatomy, they are highly qualified. Our dentists are highly trained in Botox injections. They use special measurements to obtain the desired aesthetic while using special injection techniques to ease the pain.
